How to obtain a nicotine prescription?
Apply for a prescription online at Quit Clinics Doctors or from a prescribing Australian Doctor.
Purchase nicotine vape pods and/or e-liquid.
Shop your favourite nicotine vape pods and e-liquid as usual.
Note: you don't need a prescription to purchase devices or products containing no nicotine.
Upload the prescription when you place the order or reply to the confirmation email ([email protected]) of your order after you place your order.
We’ll ship your order! Sit back and relax. We'll send you a shipping confirmation when your order is on the way via DHL express. *If you do not provide us with a prescription within 7 days of placing your order it will be cancelled.
From 29 September 2021, all Australian customers must provide us with a prescription from an Australian registered doctor to import nicotine products. This new law comes into force in Australia on 1 October 2021. What happens if my order is stopped by the Australian Border Force? What happens if I don't have a prescription?
The Australian Border Force may hold your order if there is no prescription, or they suspect it is otherwise non-compliant.Â
If this happens, the Australian Border Force will refer the import to the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for assessment. The TGA will then contact you to ask for any other information they need. If you’re unable to satisfy their requirements the TGA can request that the Australian Border Force forfeit (destroy) the goods. You may also face penalties for importing a prescription medicine without legal authority (fines of up to $222,000).Â
It is important to understand that as the importer you are solely responsible for ensuring you are meeting all country (and state) regulations when placing orders with HiVape (or any overseas vape supplier).Â
You will not be able to request the parcel be returned to us, nor can you request a refund if your order is held, delayed, seized, or forfeited (destroyed). HiVape is in no way responsible for any penalties, fines, loss of product, or additional fees you may incur.
